This is the first drama that I watched eagerly with high anticipation every single episode. Tbh, I'm not really the type that likes to watch K-drama, especially the ones only filled with romance, heartbreak, and couples. I was interested with this drama since the main cast is Song Joong-ki (the cutest Korean actor I know - thanks to Running Man), and people said that the storyline is quite similar with Vagabond drama with bits of action and suspense that triggering your curiosity.
And it turns out... this drama is more than what I expected! You can get nice humor, action, suspense with a spice of romance - all in one package. It's really impressing to see how the story progresses, with a lot of pleasant surprises in the middle of the conflict that solved with a novel idea using mafia way. Vincenzo is like a dark hero that always plot plans to obstruct a wicked company with a crueler method, obviously by breaking the law without getting caught. Isn't it such a satisfaction to see how the evil is repaid in a different way with the normal hero's way?
So far I've watched it up until eps 10, but eps 8 is definitely the best episode for me. I'm not going to spill the scene here, but that episode is the funniest episode and it makes me realize that I also have the fujoshi seed in my heart (lol 😂)
Trivia: Vincenzo always speaks Italian when he's frustrated, or acted cool. So, I tried to find out if Song Joong-ki is spelling out the right accent of Italian in a youtube review, and actually... He did speak it well! The Italian native speaker said that sometimes Joong-ki was saying a bit slower, but at least the native speaker can still understand the meaning of what Joong-ki said. Am so proud of him! (I feel like his mom lol)
I really enjoy the roller-coaster ride, and absolutely can't wait to see this drama until the end! 💕
